Tamsulosin 0.4 mg

Tamsulosin is an alpha-blocker that relaxes the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck, making it easier to urinate.

Tamsulosin is used to improve urination in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

Usage

Tamsulosin is usually taken once a day, approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day. It's best to take it at about the same time each day. If you can, take tamsulosin in the morning, after breakfast or the first meal or snack of the day. This is because the highest levels of medicine are in your body 6 hours after you take it. This will give you the most benefit during the daytime when you're most likely trying to pee.
